Camping de Nevers is a medium-sized campsite on the banks of the Loire. Opposite the campsite is the city of Nevers, which is only one and a half kilometres away. Here you can rent caravans or fully equipped tents. From the campsite you can walk directly into the Loire where you can swim or fish. In July and August there is an animation team and a children's club. Furthermore, the Loire region is famous for bicycle routes around the many castles. So take your bikes with you, because the route along the Canal Latéral à la Loire starts right next to the campsite. Not to forget and also important: there is free Wifi with range all over the campsite.

Well located camp site on bank opposite the town. The site is laid out on two terraces, the lower one with no views other than a high hedge. A tiered site on 3 levels looking across the Loire to the cathedral. Very convenient for exploring the city EHU distances rather stretched for some pitches. Staff very welcoming and informative. Toilets etc. Rather tired.

Stayed here for one night on the way home from our 2 week holiday. Our tent was cut with a knife and our car keys stolen. Car was emptied of everything we own. Keys, phones, sat navs etc all also stolen. In that one night 6 tents were targeted. French police said it happens frequently at this campsi...show more
