Camping Au Fil de l´Eau

Camping Au Fil de l'Eau is a three star campsite in Saintes in the Dordogne, situated on the River Isle. The river is a wonderful place for children to play, but you can also go canoeing or fishing. The pleasant city of Périgueux with its beautiful cathedral of Saint-Front is about 10 kilometres away. On the campsite, you will find an outdoor swimming pool with a paddling pool, a playground, a jeu-de-boules court, a pool table, a trampoline, a table tennis table, various toys for children and a sports field. Furthermore, there is a snack bar and a bar at the campsite. In the high season, regular evenings are organised with mussels and fries. For the sporty holidaymaker, the region has especially beautiful cycling routes to offer. In the area, you will find numerous historical villages, caves and castles. In one of the most famous places in the Dordogne, Sarlat, you will find an abundance of historical and protected monuments. Definitely worth a day trip. Another nice day out from the campsite is Château de Castelnaud which is beautifully located against the rocks.
