Camping de la Bonnette
Are you looking for a great campsite in France? Camping de la Bonnette is the ideal campsite for children and pets. At this campsite in the south of France, along the river la Bonnette, you can enjoy a perfect camping holiday for the whole family.
Camping de la Bonnette is run by the hospitable Dutch Cordewener family. Amidst the beautiful hills and river valleys, you can cycle and hike from the campsite.
There are also a number of designated walking routes for you to explore. Hiking maps are available at the campsite reception.
In the nearby medieval village of Caylus, you can shop in a variety of shops, grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink on a terrace. Every morning, the village baker comes to the campsite with freshly baked croissants.
There is a restaurant on the campsite where you can enjoy the different dishes on the menu. There are also daily changing menus. You can also pick up dishes from the restaurant and eat them in your safari tent if you don't feel like cooking. Once a week, you don't have to cook because the Cordewener family organises a barbecue for all guests.
The campsite bar is located near the swimming pool, so you can keep an eye on your playing children while you enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea. The pool has a deep and a shallow part, so even small children without a swimming licence can have a refreshing swim. After swimming, you can dry off in the southern French sun on one of the free sun loungers by the pool.
You can also cool off in the river la Bonnette, where the children can play or build dams. With table tennis tables, a jeu de boules court, a volleyball court, a trampoline and various playground equipment, there's plenty to do at Camping de la Bonnette.
Just a stone's throw from the campsite are the medieval villages of Caylus, St Antonin noble Val and Cordes sur Ciel. Toulouse is only an hour's drive away. Wine lovers can enjoy the many vineyards in the area. Here you can learn all about wine making, but of course you can also taste and buy delicious wines. Sporty campers can go horseback riding or canoeing near the campsite, and there are plenty of sporting opportunities for fishing enthusiasts.
