Camping L'Arbre D'Or (the golden tree) is located between the lake and the town centre of Parentis. You'll also find the towns Biscarrosse and Mimizan nearby, which you should definitely check out. The Atlantic coast is 17 kilometres from the campsite and the coast is known for its high waves. For surfers this is a real paradise. Closer than the coast is the lake of Biscarosse-Parentiser, the beach is about 5 minutes walk away.

The campsite offers you peace, conviviality and relaxation, but of course there are also all kinds of outdoor activities. On the campsite you will find a large sports field where you can play football. There is also a restaurant, a bar and a shop for your daily needs, including fruit and vegetables from the region. For the children there is a playground. The area has an excellent network of cycle paths, if you haven't brought your own bike you can rent one on site.

Trouble with dogs

Overall the holiday was good, however the couple on the pitch next to us had two small dogs which were allowed to run around without a lead. The dogs came onto our pitch and did there toilet against our awning (this I find not acceptable) A lack of water points for motorhomes and difficulty in acce...show more

Good site clean toilets and showers. Cycle routes start from site entrance good price. Peaceful site but it was out of season. Very friendly couple who run the site . Would be happy to return next year.

Third time ive enjoyed a short 3/4 day stay here. Friendly English speaking staff. Decent cycling through pines Near to supermarket and small town centre with pubs restraints cafe I'll be returning at some future date. Xxx
