Camping du Pont d'Avignon is located on an island in the Rhône, the Île de la Barthelasse, opposite the city of Avignon. If you're interested in the history of Avignon and the former papal palace, you'll find it here. The campsite offers a variety of accommodations for rent.

A very nice bathing area with a small river, a waterfall and a whirlpool is waiting for you. A children's playground and various sports facilities (volleyball, table tennis and tennis) can be used without problems. The restaurant and the snack bar provide you with international and local food.

We stayed at this site due to its great location to visit and explore Avignon. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The site was great, the pitches we great and the facilities were good.

Great campsite in a good location, 15 min walk to Avignon or you can get the free ferry across and takes a similar amount of time. Lovely campsite on the banks of the Rhone overlooking the famous Pont d'Avignon.Stayed here for 2 nights. Large shady plots, very friendly staff. Toilets and showers clean if a little dated.
