If you want to relax with your family and visit the world-famous castles along the Loire, this is the place to be. Other places to visit include the castle of l'Angle-sur-Anglin, perched on a rock, and the Futuroscope fun and science park (25 minutes by car). Over ten thousand animals live in Beauval Zoo. With around 600 animal species, the zoo in Saint-Aignan is one of the most popular zoos in France.

The just over one hundred camping pitches are situated around a historic manor house. Guests can splash around with their children in the warm pool or relax in the whirlpool to their heart's content. For 3 to 12 year olds, Camping Le Petit Trianon organises a large animation programme in the high season.

In addition, there are ball sports facilities as well as cycling and hiking trails in the surrounding area.

In the region, holidaymakers can also go fishing, horse riding or ballooning. Camping Le Petit Trianon offers a restaurant/pizzeria, breakfast service and a small supermarket. Nearby Châtellerault (7 km), Dangé-Saint-Romain and Ingrandes-sur-Vienne offer many more shopping opportunities.

We have been here before a couple of years ago and it really is a great site in a good location. Sadly the grounds have not been looked after. Lots of weeds. New toilet and shower block is very modern. Back of the chateau needs weeding and made to look pretty again. New owner seems very pleasant

This is a large peacefull campsite in grounds of beautiful old Chateau. Well laid out pitches Very modern and clean facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Gites and lodges also available. Excellent.

This site is in a beautiful setting and the staff are very helpful. The pool is lovely and they have just finished a new toilet and shower block which is smashing. Our only criticism is that the pitches from which we had to choose overlooking the chateau were all sloped and we couldn't get the cara...show more
