Your beach holiday at Camping Ca'Savio, with pools and lots of fun for kids

Your accommodation or pitch is usually pleasantly shaded or semi-shaded under pine trees. Walk to one of the b>both pool areas, look forward with your family to children's pools, sunshades, sun loungers and a sweet refreshment at the bar. Or use the direct access to the wide sandy beach. The blue flag of the European Union blows here - an award for cleanliness and service of beaches and for good water quality.

Sports and athletics fans as well as small children will surely get their money's worth here

Kids will also look forward to MiniClub (for 5-12 year olds). If your children are between 6 and 12 years old and would like to become a football star - inform yourself about the offers of the Football school of Ca'Savio... As everyone else we was placed at the end of the camping place, 500m to the pool, at least we thought it was quiet. But it wasn't the beach bar have a big and VERY loud party in the evenings, so no sleep for kids in the camping place. Wanted to go to the pool but it closed tuesdays until 01pm... An...show more

We booked with eurocamp & on arrival gave our name to staff on the desk who confirmed our booking but we had to wait for eurocamp staff to meet us 1500hrs. We w...show more We booked with eurocamp & on arrival gave our name to staff on the desk who confirmed our booking but we had to wait for eurocamp staff to meet us 1500hrs. After an hour we saw the rep turn up at 1430hrs & asked if we could check in early. Then the pattern of being deliberately unhelpful began. We were given a key and a map to our van, no assistance with getting cases there at the far end of camp nor being shown to van we had paid £1600 quid for. We get to the van to find it’s tiny and had nothing in it other than a tea towel and a sponge and that’s our welcome pack. We used eurocamp same site three years before and we were provided with a little bottle of washing up liquid but I guess it’s now all about getting as much cash out of loyal customers as they can. The vans seats were ripped and tied together with plastic ties and the wall paper in the bedrooms was ripped off the wall. The door restraints on the van doors were all smashed and the shower is a health hazard to kids as the hot inlet is scalding and burnt both my wife and I when accidentally touching it. The eurocamp staff were asked about WiFi and told us we could purchase this from the main reception but deliberately didn’t mention that the area of camp they rent doesn’t connect to the wife. The staff at ca savio initially indicated that the WiFi around the reception restaurant area was free but it wasn’t. Luckily there was one member of staff who was very good and advised me not to purchase and more than one hours WiFi in case I couldn’t join the network. As she said I could even find the WiFi link and asked for the £2 euro back as the code they provided couldn’t be input let alone redeemed. The member of staff I spoke to didn’t want to refund me and sent for her manager “lurch” who demanded to see my phone to confirm I was telling her the truth. I told her she can check her own system to see the code was not activated and that I am not lying over €2 but they can’t expect to keep money for a service that they know doesn’t work. She give me the money back but dropped it into my hand like I was piece of crap and didn’t apologised for the poor service. The shop staff are rude and think nothing of having a full on conversation with their colleagues as they serve you, not making any eye contact and again spinning the card reader around at you like your shi£ on their shoe. The shop is hugely overpriced and they know this as the super market a mile down the road is half the price on every item. The pool staff are rude and seem to think their job is to gossip and use their mobile phones while blowing their whistle if you look remotely Northern European but allowing their fellow Italians to do whet they like. The town of ca savio on the lagoon is Beautiful and there must be a great deal going on but euro camp won’t tell you as they don’t give a toss about your stay once they have your cash they can’t even provide you with up to date information on how to get to the site from the airport. I have been to Italy many times and came to this actual site 3yrs prior and there is a clear change in the attitude to tourists, they make it quite clear that short of taking your cash they couldn’t careless how your holiday is and that you will be going soon so why bother to be polite. However one really bright spot was the artillery battery museum behind the camp. The staff were top class really engaging and it’s a wonderful display. Well worth the €20 for a family ticket. Camp Ca savio you won’t be seeing me and my family again as you clearly think customer service stops once you have the customers money.
