Our tips for your holiday
Caorle is famous for its specialities with seafood from the Adriatic Sea. Visit the best fish restaurant in Veneto, the Ristorante all' Anguilla in Calle Falconera 5. It's not for free, but it's worth it. Children are very welcome here.
Super tip for golfers: the Pra' delle Torri golf course, one of the most beautiful golf courses in Italy, is located right next to the holiday resort. 18 exciting holes on a 72 par course can be mastered here, directly by the sea; you can book through the resort. If You haven’t already done so yet then why not take practice lessons.
On the banks of the lagoon around Caorle you will find the Casoni. These are ancient, rustic fishermen's huts, with their thatched roofs reminiscent of the dwellings of the South Sea islanders. Very romantic!
Golden sandy beach, crystal clear sea, and a giant water park
Centro Vacanze Pra' delle Torri is the perfect place to spend a successful family holiday by the sea. Look forward to a wide sandy beach, clear sea water, a great water park and nice family-friendly accommodation. Here, in the beautiful lake village Caorle, the "pearl of the upper Adriatic", you can spend the most beautiful time of the year. Ideal for families with young and older children who want to spend an active holiday surrounded by nature and culture.
You want to experience culture and history and the kids should not get bored?
Then make a detour to the nearby fishing town of Caorle. After a visit to the Roman cathedral in Caorle, you will be told the miraculous story of the children and the statue of Mary. For a day trip to nearby Venice and a trip on the Canale Grande is always be a fun time. Or you can follow in the footsteps of Romeo and Juliet through the beautiful Verona. Don't forget to attach the padlock with your darling to "Juliet's house"! Among the thousand other locks with hearts you will surely find a good place. You can buy the matching little locks in your favourite colour and have it engraved...
They're so nice! Here you will be helped with pleasure
There are so many suggestions for individual activities on the course, and in the surrounding area. On the spot, just ask the nice guest advisors from Pra' delle Torri in Caorle. They know their way around and will find the right mix of action and relaxation for you. Choose the right accommodation on the following websites…

The pools are brilliant, although the temperature in this part of Italy doesn’t go past 30 at its peak mostly, and I feel the pools aren’t warm enough. That being said, we still spent time in them but it was limited due to feeling cold. The pirate pool for kids is exceptional and our 6 year old loved it!
Food wise, we are vegetarian and there’s only so much you can eat, the menu lacks variety for non meat eaters - although our kids discovered a new love for Parmesan which was great!
The park had everything you could possibly want. Beach access, amazing pools, onsite shops and restaurants, a funfair at night, kids entertainment etc. I found that after spending x amount on accommodation - having to pay for food, pay for entry to the fair, pay for reserving sun beds it just adds up. We’ve been on an all inclusive in Turkey where you can get much better value for money — and you don’t get eaten to death my mosquitoes which was a HUGE problem here.
We LOVED visiting the nearby town of Caorle. It’s a truly unspoilt, stunningly beautiful town. Next time we will stay there. They had an aqua park you could visit etc, and some beautiful hotels to stay in, the beach was immaculately clean. Well worth the visit.
Overall, we had a good holiday but I wouldn’t come back, because I just don’t believe it is value for money, and that just applies to the whole ‘camping’ experience at any such resort.
Pra delle Torri itself is kept clean and very family friendly, I can’t fault the resort itself - it’s just not for us.

My overall experiences was excellent. We stayed in the Openlodge space again this year. We are a family of 4, 2 adults & 2 young teenagers. The accommodation was excellent but we could have done with either a grill or a toaster for the morning. The beach area was very clean & safe. The restaurants were very friendly & accommodating. We spent our time at the Olympic Pool because it was deeper. We also rented the beds for the week which I think is a good idea because you know then you have the same bed every day. The pool area could have been cleaner & also I think there should be an area just for smoking. Since our last visit you know have to wear swimming hats. Personally I don't see the need or understand the point of them. Just outside the gates there is a public bus services that brings you to Carole town. Inside the park there is a train services that brings you to Carole but it is very expensive especially when you have 4 people. It costs €5 per person per journey compared to the public bus which only cost €1.50 per journey. Over all we had an excellent holiday.

We stayed with eurocamp ( first time with them ) the cabin was a little tired but we wernt in it that much .
The location of these cabins are a trek to the pool( 8-10min walk could be a lot for very young kids in the heat) complex but are great for nighttime dining and entertainment .
We arrived early and couldn’t get our cabin until 3pm but the reps where excellent and very friendly . So we tried the sports bar for lunch ( very good and just what we wanted )
The pool complex is excellent and very clean ( as is the whole
Complex ) and well organised , staff are all very good , we have stayed at Marina de Venezia before and I thought it was unreal , This is as good, maybe better for older kids .
We ate in the IL Vanghetto restaurant a few nites, it can be pricy but your on holidays and who cares , staff are great and so well mannered , special mention to Adelaide, she’s a fabulous way with her.
We also ate in Chiringuito , by far and away the best location to enjoy the sea view and feel of being away on holiday and the food was delightful again pricy , but again who cares .
Shop on site is 100% , slightly more expensive than home but it gets you by, we ate out every night so didn’t require that much .
I could go on and on , but there’s too much to tell.
Cinos is great for a night cap , full of young ones , so one drink is enough on the way home , blue lagoon is great for ice cream in the Evening and a cocktail , we got the bus to Carole at the site entrance it’s so handy and €1.50 pp , ( directed by staff at the gate , super helpful and pleasant ) it was a nice day out , we ate at Enos here , again expensive but fab food.
Only small gripe I have and it is small , you need to book sunbeds and that not made that clear at checkin , I’d advise doing this online before you arrive , you can lay your towel on grassy areas , but the beds are worth the €8 per day for two and parasol. I didn’t get trying a round of golf I would have liked that but it was too hot anyway.
Also bring cash , beach activities are all cash which is fine , saves you have to exchange on site , lastly bring mosquito spray , they liked me , I forgot to put it on first night and got a few nibbles , rest of the week was no problem , the kids had no bother any night with or without spray . It’s not a real problem to be honest .
All in all I’d rate this a 9/10 experience , it will cost but you get what you pay for . Staff are all excellent and so friendly and the weather was fantastic 32-27 every day.
I thought I’d never find another park like Marina de Venezia but I think I have found one .
Thanks Pra del Torri, I think we will meet again.
