If you prefer long walks in the woods to spot deer and the like, head for the Hoge Veluwe.

The largest forest area in the Netherlands, the Hoge Veluwe National Park, is not far away.

Guided tours and wildlife observation with a ranger are possible. Those interested in culture can visit the Kröller Müller Museum or the Paleis Het Loo. Several fun and animal parks are also nearby. A stroll through the old town of Amersfoort or a day trip to Amsterdam are also recommended.
