Camping Cala Gogo

"Gua Gua" and Seni? Ever heard of them? The former is the tractor train that takes you from Cala Gogo to the beach in just a few minutes. Even if "Vamos a la Playa" only involves a few steps anyway - thanks to the mini-train you don't need to carry your beach equipment. And Seni? That means sun. She ensures bathing weather at the sea and pool and is also the name of the cute mascot of Cala Gogo Camping Park! At the Seni Club, children can design colourful T-shirts, play, sing, have their make-up done and meet new playmates!

New holiday friends for you and your offspring can also be found in the accommodation - because the luxurious accommodations are located on park-like pitches. Large enough to enjoy privacy, but also in good neighbourhood with other holiday families! This is especially pleasant if you are travelling with a child. In this Mediterranean camping atmosphere, the kids are almost always in the "fresh air". It usually only takes a short time for them to make friends. And if they don't, you can enjoy family time together - for example in one of the three pools under palm trees... with four water slides!

In the evening, tell your family or friends what you've been up to in the cosy campsite restaurant or the stylish bar - and then have a game of air hockey, pinball, billiards or darts. Or head to the music show, the disco mobile or karaoke!

You could go on a voyage of discovery along the picturesque coastal road, which will also delight the children. Visit the Gothic church ruins and the winding old town, the Vila Vella, with the old fortified towers in Tossa de Mar.  The new town also delights with historic buildings, as well as cafés and lots of shopping ideas. Pals impresses with its 10-kilometre-long sandy beach at the mouth of the River Ter and the old town, which is located on a hill and is a listed building. Getting hungry? At the Rostisseria Can Padres in Pals, delicious chicken is grilled and enjoyed in a rustic beer garden atmosphere.

You can combine a romantic bathing trip to the bays around Palamós with a hike in the Serra de Cals. The idyllic green hilly landscape with easily hikable panoramic peaks lies between the Mediterranean Sea and Girona. In the old town, which is not yet "overrun" by tourism, you can take a walk along the medieval city wall, look over to the cathedral and reach the Jewish quarter, which is well worth seeing.

Or do you just want to dive during your holiday at Camping Cala Gogo? You can learn at the Diversup PADI Diving Centre. Explore one of the most popular diving spots in Spain, the Medas Islands. Whether rays, starfish or barracudas - enjoy the underwater world with expert guidance! Happy holidays and greetings to the sun Seni!

Large senia resort

Just back from a 9 day holiday, which we thoroughly enjoyed for the most part. Site is big, and gets quite busy at weekends, when finding pool loungers can be harder. Got a bottle of red wine free on checkin. We had Vista Plus accommodation, perfect for us with 3 kids. Lovely views of the sea and la...show more

Good location but far too noisy for young families
26. August 2021 , 13:47:50

Firstly the good - the campsite is well staffed, and all the staff we met were friendly and hard working. It’s in a decent location, close to Pals (a medieval town) and about a 50 minute drive to Estartit which has a massive beach and offers snorkelling and diving trips. The nearest town centre,...show more

Great family holiday
29. July 2020 , 12:22:30

Enjoyed a fabulous family holiday here, stayed in one of the Vista Plus bungalows. It’s hilly but all the guides mention that. Good pools, food all decent for this type of site with the Chill Out bar by the small pool better than average. Platja D’Aro is fairly average but Palamos is nicer and w...show more
