The Camping Pont du Tarn is located in the heart of the Cévennes National Park and on the banks of the river Tarn. It is an idyllic place, much appreciated by nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts. The campsite is located near the picturesque village of Florac, which is also within walking distance. On the site you will find a heated swimming pool, but you can also swim in the river. At the pool there are sun loungers, thatched umbrellas and many plantings, which create a very nice atmosphere. There is also a separate paddling pool with a water mushroom and a water playground. Along the river you will find many natural sand and pebble beaches. Don't forget to bring bathing shoes, because the accesses are partly stony. The river offers many more possibilities, how about fishing, canoeing or kayaking? Children will find several playgrounds on the campsite and in high season there is an entertainment team. Children can also play table tennis or enjoy themselves on the multi-sports field. If you like hiking, you're in the right place, as there are plenty of hiking trails in the area. Near the campsite there's a famous stalactite cave to discover. The village of Sainte-Enimie is one of the most beautiful villages in France (Les Plus Beaux Villages de France) and should be definitely on your to-do list for sure. Stroll through the narrow streets and let yourself be transported back to the Middle Ages. Take a look at the Georges du Tarn or go kayaking on the Tarn.
