Cookies

a) Session cookies

We use so-called cookies when we are on the internet. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your terminal by the internet browser you use. These cookies are used to process certain information about you on an individual basis, such as your browser or location information or your IP address.

This processing makes our internet presence more user-friendly, effective and secure, as it makes it possible, for example, to reproduce our internet presence in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to process data with a view to the formation or performance of a contract.

If the processing does not contribute to the conclusion or performance of the contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

b) Third party cookies

If necessary, cookies from partner companies with whom we work for advertising and analysis purposes or for the functionalities of our internet presence may also be used.

Within the framework of contract processing, we transfer your data to the transport company responsible for the delivery of the goods or to the financial service provider, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods or for payment purposes.

If you create a customer account with us via our Internet presentation, we collect and store the data entered by you during registration (e.g. your name, address or e-mail address) exclusively for the purpose of pre-contractual services, contract performance or customer service (e.g. to provide you with an overview of your previous orders with us or to be able to offer you the so-called memo function). At the same time, we save the IP address and the date of your registration as well as the time. Naturally, this data will not be passed on to third parties.

As part of the further registration procedure, your consent to this processing will be obtained and reference will be made to this data protection declaration. The data collected by us will only be used for the delivery of the customer account.

If you consent to this processing, Article 6 paragraph 1 a) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.

If the opening of the customer account also serves for pre-contractual measures or the performance of the contract, the legal basis for this processing is also Article 6 paragraph 1 b GDPR.

You may revoke the consent given to us to open and maintain the customer account at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Article 7 para. 3 GDPR. All you have to do is inform us of your revocation.

The data collected in this context will be deleted as soon as the processing is no longer necessary. However, we must respect the fiscal and commercial retention periods.

Checking creditworthiness, scoring, payment provider

If we offer you the option of paying by invoice, and you make use of this option, we reserve the right to request a credit report from a credit agency (such as Creditreform, Schufa, Bürgel or infoscore). To this end, your data, insofar as it is relevant for processing, such as your name and address, will be forwarded to the credit institution. We use the following information to decide whether to offer you payment by invoice.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the reliability of the claim according to. Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Stripe

We have commissioned the service provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland ("Stripe") to handle our payment process. The purpose of transferring the data is solely for the purpose of payment processing. All Stripe transactions are subject to the Stripe Privacy Policy.

If the customer selects "Credit Card or IDeal" as the payment option during the ordering process in our online shop, customer data is automatically sent to Stripe. By selecting this payment option, the customer consents to the transmission of personal data necessary for payment processing.

Personal data exchanged between Stripe and the data controller may be passed on by Stripe to credit information agencies. The purpose of this transmission is to verify identity and creditworthiness.

Stripe may pass on the personal data to affiliated companies and service providers or subcontractors to the extent necessary to fulfil contractual obligations or to process the data in the order.

The data subject has the option of withdrawing his consent to the processing of personal data by Stripe at any time. A withdrawal does not affect personal data to be processed, used or transferred for (contractual) payment processing.

Further information on the handling of user data can be found in Stripe's privacy statement:

The information you provide is necessary for the processing and answering of your request - we will not be able to respond to your request or only to a limited extent without providing it.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Your data will be deleted if your request has been finally answered and there is no legal obligation to retain data in order to prevent deletion, as for example in the case of subsequent contract processing.

User contributions, comments and reviews

We offer you the opportunity to publish questions, answers, opinions or evaluations, hereinafter referred to as "contributions", on our website. If you make use of this offer, we will process and publish your contribution, date and time of submission and the pseudonym you may use.

The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Article 7 paragraph 3 GDPR. To do so, all you have to do is inform us of your revocation.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".

The Google Analytics service is used to analyse the use of our website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymisation function. Through this function, Google shortens the IP address that is already located within the EU or EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and the usage activities on our website. This data may also be used to provide other services relating to the use of our website and the internet.

Google declares that it does not associate your IP address with any other data. In addition, Google keeps under the following circumstances

https://www.google.com/intl/nl/policies/privacy/partners

In addition, Google offers the following

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

a so-called deactivation add-on with further information. This add-on can be installed with standard internet browsers and gives you more control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about visits to our website may not be passed on to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being passed on to us or to other web analysis services. If and which other web analysis services are used by us, you will of course also find information about our other web analysis services in this data protection statement.

Google reCAPTCHA

On our website, we use Google reCAPTCHA to monitor and avoid interactions on our website by means of automated access, for example via so-called bots. This is a service provided by Google LLC, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as 'Google'.

Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements will also be met when data is processed in the US.

With this service, Google can determine which website submits an enquiry and from which IP address you use the so-called reCAPTCHA input field. In addition to your IP address, Google may also collect other information required to provide and guarantee this service.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security of our presence on the Internet and in defending against unwanted automated access in the form of spam or similar.

Google offers

Google fonts

On our website we use Google Fonts to display external fonts. This is a service provided by Google LLC, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as 'Google'.

In order to enable certain fonts to be displayed on our website, a connection is established with Google's server in the USA when accessing our website.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation and economic operation of our Internet presence.

Without this "Extended Data Protection", a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you visit one of our internet pages that contains a YouTube video.

This connection is necessary in order to display the video via your internet browser on our website. YouTube permanently stores cookies on your end device via your internet browser for the purpose of functionality and analysis of user behaviour. If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by making a setting in your internet browser. Online job applications/publication of vacancies

We offer you the opportunity to apply through our website. With these digital applications we collect and process electronically the data of your applicant and application in order to process the application procedure.

The legal basis for this processing is § 26 Abs. 1 S. 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 Para. 1 GDPR.

If an employment contract is concluded after the application procedure, we will store the data you provide during the application procedure in your personnel file for the usual organisational and administrative process - subject, of course, to further legal obligations.

The legal basis for this processing is also § 26 Abs. 1 S. 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 Par. 1 GDPR.

If an application is rejected, we will automatically delete the data sent to us two months after notification of the rejection. However, the deletion will not take place if the data requires a longer storage period of up to four months or until the end of legal proceedings based on legal provisions, for example due to the burden of proof according to the AGG.

The legal basis in this case is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and Article 24(1)(2) of the BDSG. Our legitimate interest lies in legal defence or enforcement.

If you expressly consent to a longer storage of your data, for example for your inclusion in an applicant or interested party database, the data will be further processed on the basis of your consent. The legal basis is then Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may, of course, withdraw your consent in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 3 of the GDPR at any time by informing us with effect for the future.
