Camping Sabbiadoro is located on a large, well-kept and wooded site in the middle of the Lignano Sabbiadoro peninsula in the north of Italy on the Adriatic coast, about 100 kilometres north of Venice. The campsite is just a few steps away from the wide sandy beach, where Camping Sabbiadoro has its own zone for its campsites. The lively centre of Lignano Sabbiadoro is only about 600 metres from the campsite, where there are numerous shopping facilities and cosy restaurants.
Campsite Sabbiadoro has a water park with three heated swimming pools, including a whirlpool, a children's pool and a semi-Olympic pool. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pools. You can spread out your towel on the grassy areas next to the pools.
Sports enthusiasts can work out and enjoy themselves on the various sports fields or in the fitness area. There are opportunities to play football and tennis, do water sports and go cycling!
During the day and in the evening, the animation team is present at the campsite and offers various activities for the whole family. The youngest guests can let off steam during the mini-disco, before the whole family can enjoy one of the shows in the arena. The youngsters can go to the pool party by the pool or dance in the beach bar, where live music is also a regular feature.
A special highlight of Lignano Sabbiadoro is the cinema on the beach, where you can enjoy a film while sitting on the sand with your feet. Pets are also welcome here! Just 300 metres from the campsite, there is an enclosed beach area with umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as an agility area where you can enjoy a day by the sea without having to say goodbye to your four-legged friend.
Campsite Sabbiadoro offers its guests a total of around 900 pitches ranging in size from 60 to 100 m2 to meet all requirements. These pitches are suitable for motorhomes, caravans or for pitching your own tent. All pitches have electricity, water, TV and grey water drainage.
For guests who want to combine the advantages of a "solid roof" with the freedom of camping, the Sabbiadoro campsite also offers mobile homes in various sizes and types. These have a kitchen, a private bathroom, a parking space for the car and even a small garden.
Whether you choose a pitch, a mobile home or a rented tent, Camping Sabbiadoro has the right accommodation for everyone to enjoy a relaxing stay, whether it's a nice dinner or a barbecue in the open air.
For breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Sabbiadoro Beach Bar & Restaurant, located directly on the sea, and the restaurant "Al Camping", just a few steps away from the campsite, are both ideal. Here you can get everything your heart desires, from delicious fish and meat dishes to pizza creations. Whether pasta, salad or sandwich - there is a dish to suit every taste. The order can also be placed conveniently via the internet or Whatsapp with delivery to the pitch or mobile home.
After the meal, guests can relax in the pool area and be served at the kiosk, which offers cold drinks, ice cream and small snacks.
The sandy beach of Lignano Sabbiador, about 8 kilometres long, is certainly one of the main attractions of the region. It has been awarded the Blue Flag several times, the international symbol for excellent, clean and safe beaches.
But even away from the beach, there are plenty of opportunities for young and old to keep busy.
The water fun park Aquasplash is very popular with younger children. For a fun day out with the whole family, there are trips to Punta Verde Zoo, Parco Junior or Luna Park.
For those interested in the history of Italy, a visit to the city of Venice is a must. It can be reached by public transport (bus and train), by car or even by boat.
There is also the possibility of taking daily boat trips to Marano, to Isola delle Conchiglie (Shell Island) or along the Stella River. Trieste, close to the border with Slovenia, is also worth a visit. Here you can experience the oldest tramway in Europe.
