Camping Parco delle Piscine

Camping Parco delle Piscine is a beautiful, spacious campsite known for its tranquillity and good service. This popular campsite fascinates and gives almost all guests a relaxing stay.

The Parco delle Piscine campsite has 3 pools. The water temperature is a constant 24 degrees, so swimming is fun even when you're not so active. Children can also spend time sliding in the paddling pool.

Parco delle Piscine has a cosy restaurant, a shop with local products, a kiosk and offers guests free wifi. In high season, entertaining shows are organised in the evenings at the Piano Bar. Before that, children can show how much fun it is to dance at the mini-disco. There are various courses (for a fee) that can be booked on site. The beautiful village promenade of Sarteano is worth a stroll. For major shopping, there is a large supermarket only about 50 m away.

Camping Parco delle Piscine is a good starting point for excursions to many typical Tuscan towns. A visit to Rome, Florence or Siena is a must! But in the south of Tuscany you have many other possibilities for interesting day trips!

Our mobile home was awful, we have stayed in many mobile homes around Europe and this one was by far the worst. It was so outdated, badly designed, smelly and dirty. I may have been able to cope with this if the outside area had been nice but this was a gravel yard. We had an ants nest in one of...show more Our mobile home was awful, we have stayed in many mobile homes around Europe and this one was by far the worst. It was so outdated, badly designed, smelly and dirty. I may have been able to cope with this if the outside area had been nice but this was a gravel yard. We had an ants nest in one of the children's rooms too just to top it all off! The mobile homes were so close together that out of your bedroom you look into the bedroom of your neighbours and with screaming children either side peace and relaxation was impossible. I managed one night and asked to move .They did accommodate us in a better mobile home for an extra cost which was quite reasonable but overall I can't believe the cost of their accommodation seeing as it is so old and outdated. Some of the mobile homes were cleaner and more modern so be sure to pay a bit extra and get one of these. The pools are lovely and well maintained and a great size but the public pool is busy and the pool for the camp site closes between 1 and 4 for siesta. This severely disrupted our enjoyment of our time there. During this time you are also not allowed to leave the campsite by car. I understand that they are trying to encourage a peaceful atmosphere but again this limits what you can and can't do. My son had wanted to play football on the large pitch but we were told repeatedly by different members of staff that you could only use this if you payed 50 euros. I then asked about other activities and sports tournaments but again nobody seemed to know. It was only on day 5 when I asked again that I was told that their was football matches on the football pitch every day at 4.30 by which point we were at the end of our holiday. Having said all this Sarteano is lovely, the area around the campsite beautiful and the staff worked hard and were very friendly. We did the cooking course which was brilliant and very reasonable too. I did write and complain to the campsite and got a very nice e.mail back apologising for our experience so hopefully they might make some improvements.

We landed in this campsite after a day's tour of lovely Montepulciano. The place is clean, the services are super. But that's just about it. Being September it had a strong end-of-season feel.
