Camping de Gouwe Stek
In North Holland, near Enkhuizen, you will find the cosy family campsite de Gouwe Stek. During the holidays, it's mainly families who come to the campsite. There is always plenty to do for the children and activities are organised during the summer holidays. You can have a great time here in a safari tent or gypsy caravan, with or without your own sanitary facilities. Because of the 2 sanitary buildings, there are always sanitary facilities close to the accommodation. It is a very nice and cosy campsite for young and old. Dogs are also welcome at the campsite. Around the campsite there is a 2.4 km long barefoot path, fun for young and old! You can rent bicycles and walking routes at the reception. When they arrive, the children also receive a booklet with a treasure hunt about Fien and Teun. If they solve the treasure hunt, they will receive a farm diploma!
Activities at camping de Gouwe Stek
There are lots of things to do at camping De Gouwe Stek. There are several playgrounds for the children where you can find a playhouse, a sandpit, a climbing frame, swings, playground equipment, trampolines and a large pirate ship. You can also rent a go-kart for the kids and if the weather is bad, they can play table football or a game in 't Trefpunt. For the sports enthusiasts, there are sports fields at the edge of the campsite where you can play football or volleyball. There is also a jeu de boules court and a large ditch for fishing. In summer there is a small entertainment programme, such as a campfire, a fox hunt, a children's disco, bingo, etc.
The surroundings of the campsite
Just a stone's throw from camping de Gouwe stek you will find the Streekbos. There is a lake in the forest where you can swim. There are also restaurants where you can enjoy a meal or a drink. There is also plenty to do for the children, for example a sandy beach where they can build sandcastles. There is also a climbing park and an observatory. For the older ones, there are many activities such as mini-golf, curling, mountain biking, raft building, canoeing and various boat trips. For dog lovers, there is a special swimming lake for your dog and an area to run free. Near the campsite is the beautiful town of Enkhuizen, which has an interesting history and where you can do all kinds of things. The Ijsselmeer is also nearby, where you can go cycling.
