Camping Le Roustou is picturesquely situated on a large peninsula between the Lac du Serre-Ponçon and the mountains of the National Park Écrins in the French Western Alps. At low tide, the Chapel of St Michel rises picturesquely on its hill from the lake. The region is ideal for hiking, MTB tours, for bathing and relaxing or to finally have time for water sports. You can windsurf or sail on the lake. If you want to bring your own small boat, you can use the small jetty at the lake.
The small pool complex offers families with younger children an extra children's pool. Kids can also play on the campsite's playground equipment, climb the climbing net, slide or board the small carousel. Big and small tennis fans compete on the court. In the restaurant, you can strengthen yourself or relax. Fresh baguettes are served in the morning. Free WiFi is available at reception and on the beach to help you plan your next trip. Perhaps you'd like to visit the mighty 120-metre-high dam of Lac du Serre-Ponçon or the picturesque Saint-Apollinaire with its small lake. Mountain tours lead to the Écrins National Park, for example to the Arsine glacier. The highest peak in the Alpes du Dauphiné is the Barre des Écrins, the most südlichste four-thousand-metre peak in the Alps.
