Camping Bockenauer Schweiz is a cosy and quiet campsite in Rhineland-Palatinate between the cities of Trier, Cochem and Mainz.
The campsite has modern sanitary facilities and an adventure playground. Several streams flow along and across the campsite where you can take a refreshing dip, there is a large fishing pond and a jeu de boules court. In high season, there is a swimming pool on site where everyone can cool off.

There are several hiking and cycling routes that start from the campsite, and motorcyclists can also enjoy nice tours in the area. Horse lovers will get their money's worth here, as there is a riding school just a few minutes' walk from the campsite.
In addition to the campsite's own fishing pond, there are various fishing opportunities near the campsite.
There are several villages and castles near the campsite. You can swim in one of the three swimming pools, all within 10 km of the campsite. Popular places nearby are original towns like Bad Kreuznach, Bingen and Idar Oberstein. Popular places like the Loreley, Koblenz, Cochem, Wiesbaden, Mainz and Kaiserslautern are about an hour's drive from the campsite. France, Belgium and Luxembourg are all about 2 hours' drive from the campsite.
