The campsite is located in the village of Bruck near Zell am See and Kaprun, not far from Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner. This campsite has been owned by the Hofer family since 1866. Today, Mr. Wolfgang Hofer and his team welcome their guests with a lot of Austrian charm, traditions and modern service and facilities.
The Woferlgut has an approx. 15,000 m² bathing lake with a jetty, bathing island and beautifully landscaped sunbathing lawn. While the children romp on the playground, climb the low ropes course, ride ponies or play, paint and do handicrafts in the children's club, parents can relax in the sauna, steam bath or after a massage in the beautiful massage rooms in the spa area!
On guided hikes you can learn more about the environment. There are also suitable walks for families with small children, beginners and senior citizens! Don't feel like walking uphill? Then take the cable car up to the Schmittenhöhe at almost 2,000 metres and enjoy the Alpine panorama. That's not high enough for you? From the viewing platform on the Kitzsteinhorn you can look down on the 3,798-metre-high Großglockner from a height of around three thousand metres. A backdrop you won't soon forget! Ice and snow in the middle of summer? The glacier of the Großglockner can be reached via the famous High Alpine Road. It is the highest mountain pass in the Alps and leads you to Heiligenblut with many curves. You can fortify yourself on the way with a delicious Kaiserschmarrn and a Einspänner in one of the cosy mountain huts!
Play a game of tennis, football, mini-golf with the family or take a rental bike to Zell am See for some shopping. In the evening, Austrian classics are served in the campsite's stylish restaurant. Everything is expertly prepared with quality products from the immediate surroundings of the Hohe Tauern National Park! Wine lovers will be thrilled by the good wine selection here, of course also from Austria.
