The Etruria campsite is located directly on the beach in Tuscany, surrounded by shady pine trees. Especially in the warm summer months, you have very nice shady spots. The beach slopes very gently into the sea, so that even small children can enjoy the sea water relatively safely. In the high season, the excellent animation team offers a lot of activities for children and teenagers. The advantage for you is that you can just lie on the beach with a book.
The campsite has modern sanitary buildings with washing machines. There is a well-stocked mini-market, a bar and two restaurants.
Not far from the campsite is the town of Marina di Castagneto, a small, typical Italian town with shopping facilities and the ever-popular souvenir shops. If you like, you can stroll around or enjoy a delicious coffee in one of the small cafés.
The Cavallino Matto amusement park, one of the largest amusement parks in Tuscany, is an absolute highlight for children. Carousels and rides alternate on an area of 76,000 square metres. Depending on the programme, there are many demonstrations and shows.
The cities of Pisa and Florence are ideal for day trips. Both have beautiful cultural monuments, museums, great old towns and many shopping opportunities. A small tip for travelling to the cities is to use public transport. Otherwise, the parking tickets for wrong parking or parking too long can make a big dent in your holiday budget.
