Look forward to the long sandy beaches like the one at Cadzand. Fossil shark's teeth and other finds often wash up here - the kids are sure to enjoy a stroll along the beach. Stroll along the fortifications of the town of Sluis. Or visit the nearby Belgian seaside resort of Knokke-Heist, with its wide beach, dunes, many leisure activities, shops, galleries and villas. Another trip takes you to the old Hanseatic city of Bruges with its magnificent merchants' houses, the 83-metre-high Belfry and the more than six-century-old Town Hall Palace.
Walks or bike rides take you to watery, vast landscapes - like the once-flooded Black Polder or to the lagoon in the Belgian nature reserve Het Zwin. If possible, take binoculars with you to observe the many waterfowl and migratory birds that make themselves at home here.
Or rent one of the cool E-choppers at the resort. Hungry or thirsty? You can buy what you need in the EuroParcs Bad MeerSee park shop. You can get something tasty in the restaurant or on the terrace. Or you can treat yourself to chips and burgers at the snack bar with your family. Fancy a dip in the indoor pool? Guests at EuroParcs Bad MeerSee can use the indoor pool at nearby EuroParcs Resort Schoneveld.
