The Camping is a small, friendly campsite with 72 pitches, situated on the banks of a river. There are not many facilities on site but the location is perfect. In 5 to 10 minutes you walk to a very large supermarket and within a few minutes you walk from the campsite to the historic centre of the town of Puy-en-Velay. This town is on the UNESCO World Heritage list and is also called the city of pilgrims because it is one of the most important stopping places on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. Here you are in a region with a lot of history. Go out and visit for example the city of Le Puy and look out at the cathedral and the statue of the Virgin Mary which is made of remelted cannons. The city is also known for its lacework.
